Coinage
Section titled “Coinage”The common currencies are Copper, Silver, and Gold.
- 100 Copper equals 1 Silver.
- 100 Silver equals 1 Gold.
Prices may be written using the full denomination or the abbreviations C, S, and G. Listed prices represent ordinary goods in a place where the item is reasonably available. Scarcity, local materials, law, war, and distance may change a price or make an item unavailable.

Carrying Coins
Section titled “Carrying Coins”Coins are B(100) and are Like-Items. Combine all Copper, Silver, and Gold coins before calculating their EP: any assortment of up to 100 coins is 1 EP, 101–200 coins is 2 EP, and so on.
Jewelry and other small valuables can also be treated as Like-Items when appropriate. A silver ring and a jeweled gold ring do not each begin a separate bundle merely because their materials differ.
