Saddles and cargo ordinarily remain on a mount or vehicle and do not contribute to a rider’s personal EP. If an adventurer carries them personally, use their listed EP.
Supply
Section titled “Supply”Supply represents ordinary traveling and camp goods stored on a beast of burden, cart, wagon, or similar conveyance. Record Supply by EP rather than listing every incidental object.
When an appropriate need arises, you can expend Supply to produce that many EP of ordinary travel goods that could reasonably have been packed beforehand. Examples include tents, firewood, rations, bedrolls, spare sacks, cookware, and similar camp necessities.
Supply cannot produce specialized dungeon or engineering tools such as crowbars, hammers, shovels, thieves’ tools, weapons, armor, valuable spell components, or any item whose absence creates an immediate tactical obstacle. Those objects must be purchased and recorded normally.
Supply is not carried as part of a dungeon load. It must remain with the mount, vehicle, camp, or other storage that holds it. Supply can be replenished by purchasing or gathering goods during downtime, subject to availability and the GM’s judgment.
When Supply produces a consumable object, expending or consuming that object removes the corresponding Supply normally. Durable goods drawn from Supply remain ordinary objects until returned to the stored supplies or abandoned.
